HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARY!

So much has been going on in my life, good things, mostly. Even though I haven't had a chance to post lately, it seems like in forever, I have been thinking about all of you and I've been busy designing for you.

Let me tell you what's going on...first the good...hubby and I and two of our three grandchildren made a double surprise party for my step-son and his wife as they both turned 40 this year. So, for three weeks the kids and I shopped and planned. The party was great...the food was wonderful and I didn't have to cook! We had it catered by a local restaurant, Runds. Actually it's not a restaurant any longer, but a catering firm now. We had so much food leftover that dh and I ate hots, hamburgs and salads for a whole week! We had hoped to play games, but people left early as they had other obligations, it being July 4th weekend. My granddaughter and her friend both wore hula skirts and coconut bras and thought they were hot stuff! LOL...They're both 12. My youngest grandson had a ball playing with a plastic pineapple bowling game I found at Party City. My eldest grandson was MIA, as he is at summer camp, having a ball. But, his parents were there. My step-daughter stole the show, having become a size 6 after being heavy all her life. I'm so proud of her as I know her mother would have been.

Now, the bad news...My blood sugars have been going nuts...going from low to very, very high, so I've been doing lots of sleeping and eating like it's going out of style . The Dr. put me on insulin and we haven't come upon the right formula yet. Those of you who are also diabetic know what I'm talking about. Sometimes my hands are so shaky that I cannot type. So that also has been going on.

Now the VERY good news...our Rainbow Collaborative is growing...The head of our layout division is a very good friend of mine from Florida who I met online. I call her (and Mimi [Melanie]) "Daughter". Her name is Mary Patchett and today is her birthday! Happy Birthday, Mary!!! Please, leave some birthday wishes under comments for her! In her honor I have put together a Birthday Kit for all of you.

Mary's daughter (my "Granddaughter") who is a very talented young artist and writer is joining us as head of our Design Division. Her name is Monica and you will fall in love with her.

Last but not least, we have our first Premiere Designer, her name is Leslie and she is from Ohio. I have not had the priviledge of meeting Leslie yet, but look forward to it. Leslie is a friend of Mimi's and Mimi tells me she is very talented.

I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with! Welcome to everyone!!!
We still have spots open, so if you are interested in working with us, please email us!

Ok, here's the layout I did yesterday from today's mini kit. Let me know what you think and what you think about the mini kit.
